11th Nov 2009 at Alana, 10 High St, Ludlow, updated Dec 20th 2009

closed March 2010

First, here's the exhibition update of 2 additional works by Ludlow College students installed Dec 20:

  • "T-shirt rain-clouds" - graphic by Miles. This communicates the core Thinkwater tension between water use and water shortage

  • "A dress for Ophelia" - clothing installation by Erica. Adorned with flowers made from T-shirts textile, she is ready for the ultimate embrace with water

The Exhibition opened in November with these three works by Ludlow College students:

  • "Do You Take Water for Granted?" - graphics by Cassie. Comminicates the key message

  • "Telephone Box, Full of Water" - book art by Jess. The box is covered in cotton; the accordian-pages depict levels of water

  • "Pirate Ships" - sculpture and narrative by Rachel. Leaves without water are dry; as ships they still celebrate water. We must not take water for granted.
